Final Countdown

The final countdown to going home is finally here. I have enjoyed every experience of this Costa Rican adventure and I cannot believe it is already coming to a close. Working with a gravity team has been an amazing experience because it has allowed me to explore different parts of this country while also performing research and collecting data at the same time. I am excited to take what I have learned here with me back to the states and continue this project there as well. One of the coolest things I have learned here has been working with the satellites and UNIX. Both have been completely different experiences within themselves; however, I think it is so awesome that I have gotten to experience the technical and the adventurous sides of research.

Although I have been having a blast here in Costa Rica, I am excited and ready to return home for the final weeks of summer. It will be nice to reconnect with family and friends after five weeks of constant learning. I cannot wait to show them all the beautiful pictures I have taken of this country and to tell them about the things I have learned here.

Before leaving the GREAT group got the opportunity to learn how to play water polo yesterday! I think it is safe to say we all had a blast and are excited to play again on Thursday! Thankful for yet another learning experience here in Costa Rica!

Continue to stay tuned with the group as the rest of our cohort talk about their experiences here! We look forward to seeing all you family and friends in the next couple of days!
